Schedule of Events

-
Route Map
We will share the map and final turn-by-turn directions closer to event weekend - once all routes have been finalized and approved. We aim to make the route as accessible as possible with paved walkways.
-
Route Support
Challenge Walk MS is a fully supported event with your safety as our number one priority! Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles patrol the route to show support and ensure your safety. SAGs give rides – be it the finish line or a rest stop – as needed and requested.
-
Rest Stops
Rest stops are located every 1.5-3 miles along the route to help you recharge and refuel. Relax, hydrate, grab a bite to eat and connect with other participants. There will also be medical support at most rest stops.
-
Meals
All Walkers and Crew receive 8 meals throughout the weekend – 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners. Breakfast and dinner will be served at Parkwood Lodge and lunches will be along the route each day. A survey will be sent in early summer to determine any dietary needs/restrictions.
-
Lodging and Transportation
The majority of participants will be staying at Parkwood Lodge in Fish Creek, WI. Due to the size of our event, some participants will also be staying at the Homestead Suites, a 2 minute drive from Parkwood Lodge. Shuttles to any activities at Parkwood Lodge will be provided for any participants staying at Homestead Suites.
Please register early to ensure your place on the main site at Parkwood Lodge. The National MS Society provides lodging for all Walkers and Crew on Friday and Saturday night of event weekend. Participants are responsible for paying for Thursday night.
A housing survey will be sent out in early summer to determine your lodging needs. Please contact joseph.holtman@nmss.org with any lodging questions.
