Due to some unforeseen matters, the 2023 Awards Party/2024 Kick-off events (originally scheduled for Jan 16 & 18) have been postponed until a later date.
Logistics Meeting

All Bike MS participants are invited to our ‘Know Before You Go’ Logistics meeting to have all your event weekend questions answered. Bike MS staff and leadership volunteers will review all aspects of the ride weekend including parking, start line / finish line expectations, route and rest stops, plus the extraordinary experience of the Day 1 and Day 2 finish lines.
Kick your fundraising up a notch at the right time, and you could win special perks or prizes! Fundraising Weeks run Monday through Sunday at midnight.
Fundraising Week 1: May 13 - 19
Both teams and individual participants can earn special prizes this week!
The Top Fundraising Teams in two categories (2-14 members, and 15+) will each win a choice of a Team Tent in Lamesa or a Port-a-potty at the rest stop of your choice.
The Top Individual Fundraiser will win a free hotel night stay in Lamesa (7/20) @ the Best Western and a Nautica, Hardshell & Spinner suitcase.

Fundraising Week 2: June 10-16

The Top Fundraising Teams in two categories (2-14 members, and 15+) will each win ‘stocked cooler’ at the overnight in Lamesa for your team (team provides cooler, we provide drinks).
The Top Individual Fundraiser will win a new Bontrager cycling helmet (are able to exchange for the correct size) and a pair of Wrap G goodr sunglasses.

The Bike MS Cactus & Crude will host various opportunities for you to pick up your rider packet before ride weekend. Each packet pick up will enable riders to drop off funds and pick up the following:
- Rider number (Bib, helmet tags, luggage tags, etc.)
- Participant T-Shirts and sponsor goody bag
- Updated Event Weekend Information
- Top Fundraiser Jersey – when you reach $1,000 fundraising
All participants who fundraise $250 or more are eligible to pick up their rider packet. Team captains and teammates can pick up your packet, provided you have met the $250 fundraising minimum.
If you have a corporate matching amount in the works, be sure to bring the company receipt with you to ensure speedy check out.

If you registered online, you completed a waiver during the registration process. Please note: Riders under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian if they are registering at packet pick-up. If they registered online they do not need to bring a signed waiver form.

Transportation
Shuttle service is provided for a nominal fee of $15 in advance of the ride weekend and can be used on Friday – Sunday. The cost increases to $20 the week of the ride and $25 if you sign up the day the ride. There is no charge for the Leap Ahead options or the shuttles from Lamesa community center to/from hotels but please let us know if you plan to use those options.

Bike MS is an extraordinary ride no matter where you are! Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…
Each route includes fully-stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy the volunteers. Bike mechanics and support and gear (SAG) vehicles will also be on the route to assist you.
After the ride, we will have plenty of food at the finish line.

Saturday, July 20:
Breakfast is available at 5:45am. Breakfast tacos, pastries, fruit, and coffee
Lunch: 10:30 am-2pm. Fajitas prepared by Lamesa Fire Department, food donated by H-E-B.
Beer: 11 am-2pm
Dinner and Awards Celebration: 5 pm including a delicious BBQ dinner.
Sunday, July 21:
Breakfast is available 5:45am. Sausage biscuits, egg biscuits, breakfast tacos, and coffee
Lunch: 10:30am – 3:00pm. Baked potato bar (chopped brisket and chicken tenders), donated by United Supermarkets
- Celebrate the end of your ride with a toast!
- Make sure you invite your friends and family and join us at the finish line English Newsom Cellars to celebrate this amazing ride in style!
- Beer and/or wine area: 11am-2pm
- Please, NO outside alcoholic drinks, per English Newsom Cellars/TABC regulations
Bike Shops
