Support and Gear (SAG) Vehicles
Just can’t push another pedal, or need help with a flat tire? Designated passenger vans, trucks, and vehicles with orange flags are on the route and at rest stops. SAG vehicles are equipped with bike racks, basic bike repair kits, and water.
NOTE: The trip into the finish line is not always direct. Be patient as we pick up other cyclists in need.

Bike Mechanical Support
Please be sure your bike has been inspected, tuned up, and is free of any mechanical issues and ready to ride before event weekend.
We will have mechanics on the route during Cape Cod Getaway weekend. Mechanics are equipped to assist with minor repairs like tube changes and drivetrain adjustments and will be unable to address any significant mechanical issues or failures.
Huge thanks to our bike shop partners who will be on site during Cape Cod Getaway weekend to provide mechanical support along the way. We’re always looking for new shop partners to join the Bike MS mission. If you know of a great bike mechanic or shop who is willing to help, let us know!
Find a shop near you on our list of Preferred Bike Shops.
Tip: Bring your shoes and your riding kit with you when you drop your bike off for service.
