Drop your bike at the Leap Ahead Loading Zone between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Bikes will be transported Saturday night to Burton and held in a secure bike compound and cannot be returned to La Grange.
Be sure to grab your water bottle off your bike!
Overnight security on site in Burton.
Sunday Morning:
Bike transport: 5:30 A.M. – 7:30 A.M.
Bike loading begins at 5:30 am. Trucks will depart when they are full.
Trucks continue to load and depart for Burton until the last bike is loaded or 7:30 am, whichever comes first.
Bikes cannot be loaded on buses; all bikes MUST be loaded on a truck.
Bus Loading Starts: 8:15 A.M.
Bus Departures: 8:30 A.M. – 9 A.M.
Buses will not depart prior to 8:30 am. Buses will continue to load and depart until 9:30 am
After drop-off in Burton, enjoy the 50-mile route to the epic finish at Texas A&M University.
With a variety of route options, you can choose the challenge that’s right for you! Routes will be finalized shortly.
The route maps and cues are available through the Ride with GPS application. Follow these instructions to connect to the Bike MS: Texas MS 150 routes and access the navigation features. Within the app, there is an option to download the route maps to use offline.

Bike Safety Inspections
Not only does your body need to be in the best shape for the Texas MS 150, but your bike should be finely tuned and road worthy as well. To ensure your bike is in the best shape, take your bike and cycling shoes to one of the Texas MS 150 Bike Store Sponsors for a FREE professional safety inspection. Please view the 2024 Bicycle Safety Inspection form to learn what is included in the safety inspection.
- Bike Safety inspections are not mandatory, but strongly encouraged by the National MS Society to promote a safe Texas MS 150.
- Once your bike passes the safety inspection, you will receive a Texas MS 150 bike safety inspection sticker to display on the stem of your bike.
- With this sticker, you are eligible for FREE labor if you need any mechanical repairs during the Texas MS 150 (parts and materials are extra).
Completing the bike safety inspection provides you with the confidence to know that your bike is in the best shape for the event as well as contributing to the safety of all your fellow cyclists on the road with you to College Station.

- Riders may bring a 1 to 2 person camping tent to be transported with your luggage (dropped at the luggage truck on Saturday at start location). The camping tent counts as 1 of the 2-piece luggage limit per participant.

Rules for Overnight RV camping at Fayette County Fairgrounds
- RV parking is on a first-come, first-served basis – NO RESERVATIONS
- Access to the Fairgrounds for RVs is only available 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Thursday and Friday the week of the event (There is absolutely no access prior to Thursday)
- RVs will check in at the front of the Fairgrounds and be escorted to the RV parking area.
- No RV hook-ups on site or designated spaces “pasture/field type parking area”
- RV/camping gear must be removed by dusk on Sunday, April 28
- RVs are required to be equipped with a current/certified fire extinguisher.

Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…
Each route includes fully stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy time with the volunteers along with support and gear (SAG) vehicles along the route to assist you.
After you cross the finish line, we will have plenty of local food information handy.

Bubble Bistro
This unique shaded and fanned viewing-reception area was created by a committee of ladies who wanted to ensure anyone living with MS that attended the Texas MS 150 would be able to have a cool spot to watch the riders pass through Fayetteville on Day 1 and cross the Finish Line in College Station on Day 2.
Both Bubble Bistro locations are reserved for people living with MS plus one guest and serve as break to enjoy a snack, a cool beverage, and the excitement of cheering on the riders while the sky is filled with our signature welcoming BUBBLES!
The Bubble Bistro offers cyclists the opportunity to meet the people they are riding for and offers those living with MS the chance to say thank you.

IRWMS
The I Ride with MS program celebrates and recognizes the resilience of our cyclists who are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and shines a light on what it means to live with this disease. I Ride with MS participants enjoy special day-of-event benefits and receive a complimentary "I Ride with MS" jersey from our program's proud supporter, Primal.

All of our I Ride With MS (IRWMS) participants are invited to join in a Victory Parade as riders living with MS gather to cross the finish line together.

Mission Possible Award
The Mission Possible Award is the most prestigious award and recognizes a team’s commitment to the goals of the Texas MS 150. This award highlights the key elements that drive this event’s success. This team knows that it is more than just a ride. Their involvement is focused on raising money, safety, and MS awareness. Qualifying for this award places your organization in the spotlight for social responsibility inaction. The Mission Possible award proves your organization is doing everything they can to help people affected by MS live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever.

MS Ambassadors
MS Ambassadors are volunteers that represent the National MS Society in a variety of ways and may be people living with MS, family or friends, healthcare professionals, committee members…anyone interested in joining the movement to create a world free of MS. Their primary purpose is to assist in increasing public awareness of both MS and the MS Society and to encourage others to connect and engage. An MS Ambassador can attend your team meetings in an effort to increase mission connection and encourage fundraising!

The safety of our cyclists is the number one priority at Bike MS which is why we made Think Safe our motto.
Bike MS is for everyone which means there is a great mix of riders with different experience and skill levels on the road together at every Bike MS event.

Review the Safety in Group Cycling brochure for helpful tips, group riding basics, important lingo, important prep reminders, bicycling laws and more. All youth riders (ages 12-17) must review the brochure with a parent or guardian before participating in the event.

Safety Coordinators
The Team Safety Coordinator serves an important role in assisting the Team Captain with the planning and execution of safety education, training and awareness for the team members participating in the Texas MS 150. As part of the team’s leadership, the Team Safety Coordinator is a major contributor to the success of your team and the safety of its riders.

Team Safety Award Information
Teams who meet the Texas MS 150 2024 Team Safety Award Criteria are encouraged to complete the 2024 Team Safety Award Application. Further information will be shared after the Texas MS 150.
Bike Safety Inspections
Not only does your body need to be in the best shape for the Texas MS 150, but your bike should be finely tuned and road worthy as well. To ensure your bike is in the best shape, take your bike and cycling shoes to one of the Texas MS 150 Bike Store Sponsors for a FREE professional safety inspection. Please view the 2024 Bicycle Safety Inspection form to learn what is included in the safety inspection.
- Bike Safety inspections are not mandatory, but strongly encouraged by the National MS Society to promote a safe Texas MS 150.
- Once your bike passes the safety inspection, you will receive a Texas MS 150 bike safety inspection sticker to display on the stem of your bike.
- With this sticker, you are eligible for FREE labor if you need any mechanical repairs during the Texas MS 150 (parts and materials are extra).
FREE bike safety inspections: March 15, 2024 – April 20, 2024
$15 fee for bike safety inspections: Begins on April 21, 2024
Completing the bike safety inspection provides you with the confidence to know that your bike is in the best shape for the event as well as contributing to the safety of all of your fellow cyclists on the road with you to College Station.
Education/Experience
The Safe Cycling Quiz is an educational tool designed to increase your knowledge and awareness of safe cycling practices you are likely to experience during training rides and the Texas MS 150.
Group Riding Skills Courses
League of American Bicyclists Online Learning Portal Smart Cycling Lessons
- NO COST: Smart Cycling curriculum builds on itself through Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced sections of bicycling education.
- Wide variety of methods to learn the material - videos, presentations, quizzes, worksheets.
- Review all curriculum to prepare for the Smart Cycling Exam.
- Pass the Smart Cycling exam score of 85% or more to print your certificate of completion.
- League members will be able to login directly to the site using the same login as the League member portal.
- Not a League member? You can still access the Learning Center for free: need to create an account and validate the account through email.
* The online Smart Cycling courses are hosted by The League of American Bicyclists, a non-profit organization promoting education programs to improve cycling safety skills. These no cost Smart Cycling courses offered are not organized or supported by the National MS Society. This information is provided as a safety educational resource only.
Group Riding Skills Courses - Teams
To coordinate a Group Riding Skills Course for your team taught by a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) from the League of American Bicyclists, please review the instructions and list of LCIs.
*All LCIs are Independent Contractors, therefore all agreements for Group Riding Skills Courses for a team are between the team and the LCI.
