Bike MS: Tour de Beach offers three great ride options for Day 1 and Day 2. Each day will be equipped with full route support volunteers should you need assistance throughout the event weekend on route.

Fundraising Week 

We’ll have two fundraising weeks to incentivize fundraising. The challenge is the same for both: Raise the most money online during the week. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: Individual, Team (2-9 members), and Team (10+ members). We want to get people excited and incentivized to raise money as well as spread word about the event!

We want to great buzz and excitement around the event!

• Fundraising Week #1: July 24 -28
  • Individual Prize: VIP pass for the weekend + Bike MS swag item
  • Team Prize (for both categories): Team tent and ice chest of drinks + Priority placement in the staggered start line up on Day 1
• Fundraising Week #2: August 21 – 25
  • Individual Prize: 2 VIP Tickets to the 2023 Bourbonham event
  • Team Prize (for both categories): Team tent and ice chest of drinks + Reserved team portapotty at rest stop of choice (Day 1 or Day2)

Know Before You Go

All Bike MS participants are invited to our ‘Know Before You Go’ Logistics meeting to have all your event weekend questions answered. Bike MS staff and leadership volunteers will review all aspects of the ride weekend including parking, start line / finish line expectations, route and rest stops, plus the extraordinary experience of the Day 1 and Day 2 finish lines.

Kickoff Event

Join us at the Dead River Distilling Company in Birmingham, AL to help kick off Tour de Beach 2023. This is a great event to network and engage with your community. Bring your family, bring an interested friend or co-worker, potential sponsor, or volunteer - all are welcomed!

Your Bike MS packet contains important items including your rider bib, event details and sponsor giveaways. In order to pick up your packet, you must meet the $200 fundraising minimum and have a completed waiver on file. If you registered online, you've already completed a waiver during the registration process. Please note: Riders under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Packet pick-up will be held Friday, September 29th at The Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.

We will also be hosting a packet pick-up in the Birmingham office on September 19th from 11 am to 6pm. You will be able to pick up your rider packets at that time.

The Lodge at Gulf State Park, a Hilton Hotel, is the host hotel for Bike MS: Tour de Beach and is offering participants a discounted room rate - $159 per night for Park View rooms and $179 per night for Gulf View rooms. Booking deadline is August 22, 2022. Each individual guest must make their own reservations by calling 1-800-618-4350 and identify themselves as members of the Bike MS group or online: Hotel Link (group booking code is NMS).

Gulf State Park also has other camping accommodations available. Check out their website for more information and how to book reservations.   

We have attached a map of the hotel layout for you to have a better understanding of where everything is. With a beautiful lobby and beach access, The Lodge is the best place for our event!

• Lunch (at RS4 – 75M Only) – Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwiches, Chips, and Cookies (vegetarian & gluten free options available upon request)
• Post Ride Meal (at Gulf State Park) – Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwiches, Chips, and Cookies (vegetarian & gluten free options available upon request)
• Dinner (at The Lodge Hotel) – Garden Salad, Seafood Buffet, Grilled Chicken Breast, Lemon Herb Basmati Rice, Roast Corn O’Brien, Rolls, and Key Lime Tart
• Dinner will be provided for all participants and volunteers.  All guests are welcome to join us! Dinner Fee: $25 per person

Bike MS is an extraordinary ride no matter where you are! Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…

Each route includes fully-stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy the volunteers. Bike mechanics and support and gear (SAG) vehicles will also be on the route to assist you
