Logistics Call

All Bike MS participants are invited to our ‘Know Before You Go’ Logistics call to have all your event weekend questions answered. Bike MS staff and leadership volunteers will review all aspects of the ride weekend including parking, start line / finish line expectations, route, and rest stops.

Fundraising Weeks

Fundraising Weeks run Monday through Sunday at 11:59pm. Each fundraising week will have winners in the following categories:

• Teams - ** 2 teams will win.
  •  1 mid-size team (2-14 members)
  • 1 large team (15+ members) **
• Individual – this can be a participant on a team or not on a team

As a reward for your amazing fundraising, we will award the following prizes for Fundraising Weeks:

Week 1: May 8 - 14

• Team Prize: Choice of:  
  • Team port-a-potty along the route at a rest stop of your choice
  • Private packet pick up
  • Decorated team tent with mister at your choice of overnight or finish line
    • 15 + members = 10x20 tent
    • 2-14 members = 10x15 tent
      (Highest amount of team fundraising online during fundraising week)

Winners:

• Team (2-14 members) - Stage 3 Separation
• Team (15+) - Team Endeavor

• Individual prize: Top Fundraising Individual – will when a 30 min massage and 2 bottles of English Newsom Cellars wine!

Week 2: June 5 – 11

• Team Prize: Choice of:  
  • Team port-a-potty along the route at a rest stop of your choice
  • Private packet pick up
  • Additional team beverages
    • 15 + members = Margarita machine
    • 2-14 members = stocked cooler for event
      (Highest amount of team fundraising online during fundraising week)

• Your Bike MS packet contains important items including your rider bib, event details and sponsor giveaways. In order to pick up your packet, you must meet the $250 fundraising minimum and have a completed waiver on file. If you registered online, you completed a waiver during the registration process. Please note: Riders under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Lubbock

When: Tuesday, July 11, 10 am - 4 pm

Where: National MS Society office - 3610 22nd St, Ste 301, Lubbock, TX 79410 (go into the building through the Neuroscience Institute entrance, which is the SE corner)

Midland

When: Friday, July 14, 3 pm - 7 pm

Transportation

• Friday, July 14 @ 4:00 pm from Lubbock (English Newsom Cellars) to Midland. In Midland the shuttle will first stop at packet pick up, then on to the hotel.

No parking passes will be required at any of our sites.   And parking is free with no time limits.

Bike MS is an extraordinary ride no matter where you are! Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…  

Each route includes fully-stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy the volunteers. Bike mechanics and support and gear (SAG) vehicles will also be on the route to assist you.  

After the ride, we will have plenty of food at the finish line.

Food

Saturday, July 15:

Breakfast is available around 5:45am. Breakfast tacos, pastries, fruit, and coffee

Lunch: 10:30 am-2pm. Fajitas prepared by Lamesa Fire Department, food donated by H-E-B

Beer Tent: 11 am-2pm

Dinner: 5:30 pm. Pasta dinner catered by Grub Hub.

Sunday, July 16:

Breakfast is available around 5:45am. Sausage biscuits, egg biscuits, breakfast tacos, and coffee

Lunch: 10:30am – 3:00pm. Baked potato bar (chopped brisket and chicken tenders), donated by United Supermarkets

• Celebrate the end of your ride with a toast!
• Make sure you invite your friends and family and join us at the finish line English Newsom Cellars to celebrate this amazing ride in style!
• Beer and/or wine area: 11am-2pm
• Please, NO outside alcoholic drinks, per English Newsom Cellars/TABC regulations
