How Walk MS Works
Find Your Walk
With 3 ways to Walk MS, find an event experience that's perfect for you:
- Find an in-person event near you on our map!
- Be a part of an in-person event as a virtual walker to connect to an event no matter where you are.
- Create your own event-day experience – anywhere, anytime – with Walk MS: Your Way.
Every event comes with the same great support, resources and community to help you walk toward a world free of MS.

With a team by your side, you'll raise more money, make a greater impact and have more fun on this journey toward a world free of MS. Bring together your favorite people for a powerful cause and make your steps go that much further.
Raise Awareness & Fundraise
The Walk MS experience kicks off as soon as you register!
About 92% of Walk MS participants have a personal connection to MS, so Walk MS is the place to shine a light on what it means to live with this disease. And while there is no fundraising minimum, we encourage you to aim high and set a fundraising goal. Why? Because funds raised at Walk MS fuel groundbreaking research that will get us closer to a cure.
Along the way, we have plenty of resources and special prizes to keep you motivated and help you reach your goals.
Earn a Special T-Shirt
When you raise $100, you’ll receive an exclusive Walk MS shirt for your hard work and dedication. If you participate in our Living with MS program, you’ll get a special orange bandana to show the world that you’re stronger than MS.
Walk
Every step you take at Walk MS leads to something greater. With accessible routes that are stroller and mobility device-friendly, there’s nothing quite like being surrounded by people sporting their best orange gear to support the MS community.
Celebrate a World Free of MS
Approaching the orange arch to a cheering crowd is something we can’t explain – you have to experience it for yourself. You’ll finish empowered and inspired to keep moving toward a cure.
