Race Details

Step #1: Submit your application to be considered for one of our teams limited spots. Fundraising minimums are outlined below and dependent on participation type.

• $750 – Marathon
• $1,000 – 10 Mile
• $500 – Secured own bib

Step #2: Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis starting January 2024 through August 2024.

Step #3: If selected, you will receive an email notification from the event lead! At that time, a private registration link will be shared with you to create your personal fundraising page and confirm your spot with the team. Additional registration instructions will be outlined at that time.

Team members must raise 50% of their fundraising minimum prior to August 1^st. Once this milestone has been met, runners will receive our organization’s official registration link for the Twin Cities Marathon/10-mile. The fundraising deadline for this event is October 6, 2024.

Please Note: 

• If selected, there will be a $25 registration fee to hold your spot on the team. This is a tax-deductible donation to the National MS Society and will count towards your total fundraising requirement.

• Once registered and an injury occurs or a runner chooses to not participate in the Chicago Marathon as a charity runner for the National MS Society, they will still be held responsible for 75% of my required fundraising minimum by October 6, 2024.
• If a runner doesn’t reach the fundraising minimum requirement by the deadline, their credit card will automatically be charged the difference between the fundraising minimum and the amount they currently have raised.
