Movie Under the Stars
Our 2022 Bike Committee has selected our Movie Under the Stars and our Bike MS weekend theme. Find your COURAGE, follow your HEART, and find your way HOME to Bike MS: Willamette Valley with The Wizard of Oz! Movie Summary: “When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and en route, they meet a Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) that needs a brain, a Tin Man (Jack Haley) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) who wants courage. The wizard asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton) to earn his help. The movie begins at sundown Saturday, August 6, 2022

Rest stops will be situated every 10-12 miles with hydration and nutrition. SAG vehicles will be available between every rest stop.
Medical and bike mechanic support will also be available at every rest stop.

Each fundraising week provides prize opportunities to enhance our Bike MS weekend experience while raising the critical funds to END MS FOREVER.

Bike MS is an extraordinary ride no matter where you are! Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…
Each route includes fully-stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy the volunteers. Bike mechanics and support and gear (SAG) vehicles will also be on the route to assist you.
After the ride, we will have plenty of food at the finish line.

Friday Night
Taco Bar—Self-Pay: $16.95
Chicken, Beef, and Vegetarian options, rice, and beans.
Saturday:
- Breakfast: Breakfast Sandwiches (Egg, Ham, Plain), assorted pastries, assorted fruits, coffee/tea bar.
- Lunch: Sub sandwiches/wraps, PBJ, chips, assorted fruits.
- Dinner: Shoyu chicken, Kalua pork, (v)teriyaki soy curls, sticky rice, mac salad, green salad & Hawaiian rolls
- Movie Snacks: Popcorn, candy, and Coke Floats from Swire Cocoa-Cola, USA.
Sunday:
- Breakfast: Breakfast Sandwiches (egg, ham, plain), assorted pastries, assorted fruits, coffee/tea bar.
- Lunch:
- Route: Uncrustables, bananas, chips, cookies, (gf) gluten free PB&J Bars
- Rider Village: Sunday BBQ*- Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Cookie) (v) Veggie Burger (gf) lettuce for bun
*Rider Village BBQ is served until 2:00 pm

> Rest Stop Support: Rest stops are set up approximately every 10-12 miles featuring:
- Themes with fun festivities and smiling faces. A big thank you to our Rest Stop Sponsors!!
- Rest Stop Food: Cliff Bars, granola bars, chips, nuts, and assorted fruits
- First aid stations
- Mechanical support from local bike shops. A BIG Thank you to the following bike shops for volunteering their time and talents to keep us riding safely!
> SAG Vehicles Just can't push another pedal, or just need a ride to the next stop? These trucks & SUVs rove the route and rest stops. Give the thumbs-down signal if you want to be picked up. You and your bike will be transported.
> Bicycle tagalongs, trailers and carriers are not allowed on the route.
> Mechanical Support Get your bike inspected prior to ride weekend to identify major issues. Bike mechanics will provide minor repairs at rest stops.
> Ride Marshals are respected riders who are the Safety and Good Will Ambassadors to help keep Bike MS safe while on routes. On event weekend, safety is our number one priority and is critical to maintain the integrity of the event. This special team of cyclists helps along the route and monitors cycling safety.
> Medical Support If a medical emergency takes place call 911. For nonlife threatening emergencies call the emergency number printed on your rider bib which is included in your packet. First aid stations (i.e., band-aids, aspirin, antibiotic ointment) will also be available at all Rest Stops.

*Both Camping and RV parking are free and open to all on a first-come, first-served basis. Showers and restrooms are nearby. Make sure to bring soap, towels, and toiletries.
