Event Bike MS: Suncoast Challenge Registration Info

Training: Try out our custom training plans with VeloPro or join local group training rides so you can connect with fellow cyclists.
Prizes: All cyclists who meet the fundraising minimum will receive an exclusive Bike MS T-shirt and medal. Once you reach $500 in fundraising, you’ll be eligible to earn special prizes and maybe even a Bike MS fundraising jersey.
Ride Support: The ride will have rest stops (stocked with hydration and nutritional snacks) every 8-18 miles, well-marked routes, medical support, bike mechanics and ride marshals on the route.

Bike MS will be the ride of a lifetime — experience it for yourself.

The minimum age to ride is 12. Please review the Youth Riders section below for additional requirements for cyclists under 18.
The fundraising minimum is $250. We have tools to help you get there! Check out our Fundraising Ideas page for tips to reach your minimum and your goal.
E-Bikes and recumbent bikes are welcome on the ride, contingent on local rules and regulations.
Walk-up registrations are gladly accepted. However, we recommend registering early so you can fundraise and make an even greater impact.
We ride rain or shine. In the event of lightning or other dangerous weather-related conditions, please check the event website and email updates.
Helmets are required at all times — please contact your local staff if you need to request an exemption to this requirement.
Personal vehicles are prohibited on the route and at rest stops; Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles are available to transport any cyclists in need.
Pets are not allowed at the ride. However, service animals are welcome.

Families are a big part of Bike MS and we love seeing them out on the road! To make sure our youngest participants remain safe, here are some special requirements for cyclists under the age of 18:

All riders must be at least 12 years of age on or before event day — no exceptions.
All youth riders (ages 12-17) must review the Bike MS Health & Safety page with a parent or guardian before setting out.
Youth riders must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult (at least 21 years of age) at all times.
One parent/adult may be responsible for no more than three youth riders.
All the above requirements apply for children on a tandem bicycle.
No trailers, tagalongs or child carriers are allowed on the route.
