I’m walking toward a world free of MS

As many of you know I was diagnosed last fall with MS. After months of combating my diagnosis with anger and depression I was scared about my future. What I am realizing is that the only way through is by actively being vocal about my disease and educating not only myself but others. So, I am going to do this walk in May hoping that I can raise awareness and fund resources, research and education that can go towards finding a cure. Medical advancement has come a long way in the past couple decades and I am hopeful that maybe in my lifetime there might be a cure.  

I’m coming together with thousands of people across the country at Walk MS to raise funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society because a cure is on the line. Now is the time to do everything we can for the nearly 1 million people (including myself) living with MS in the United States. The MS Society is the best investment to solve the challenges of MS - with information, connections and support as well as a global network to achieve a cure.
