Team Zrike is walking toward a world free of MS.

For the 24th consecutive year, Team Zrike will be participating in the Boston Walk in support of the Multiple Sclerosis Society on Sunday, April 7, 2024.  In 1999 Steve Zrike was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS, the worst form of this neurodegenerative disease. He is now in a wheelchair full time, but due to the love and support of his family and friends, he faces every day with optimism and good spirits as well as the determination to live each day to its fullest.

Everyone has the power to change the world for people with MS. We’re coming together with hundreds of others at the Boston’s Walk to cure MS to ensure that no one faces MS alone.

We’d love your generous support as we prepare for the Boston Walk.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information between the brain and body. MS is different for everyone, and that makes it all the more challenging to solve.

Sara and Steve along with their 5 “kids” and their families started participating in the Boston MS Walk the year after Steve was diagnosed and since then, because of the support of family and many dear friends, we have raised almost $300,000 for the Walk. Because of their generosity, more advances in MS than have been achieved for any other neurological condition, and that’s why Team Zrike is walking again this year – to keep the movement going!

We have an ambitious goal because we know that with your support, we can reach it. The money raised will drive groundbreaking research, provide life-changing programs and guarantee a supportive community for those who need it most. This cause is important to Steve and we hope you will do your part to help end MS forever.
