Our goal—a world free of MS.

I've registered for Walk MS because I want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed - and because I want to do everything to prevent more people from learning what it means to live with this disease. Today, there is no cure or prevention for Multiple Sclerosis, and with a diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face decades filled with unpredictability and disability.

This has been difficult for our family. Last year was rough, and now this awful disease has taken Nancy. This highlights how MS is not only a terrible disease, but also makes recovery from other issues very difficult.

This will be my first year Walking in Memory of my wife - I hope that funds will help fund research that finds a cure.

What the MS Society will do

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will use funds collected from Walk MS to not only support research for a cure tomorrow, but also to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today.

Any and all support will be appreciated... I'd really like to see us "knock it out of the park" this year. Thanks,

Mark
