What to Expect
What's Included
Race Against MS is a festive afternoon at Belmont Park Race Track including thoroughbred racing, lunch, auction, awards presentation, and an inspiring program about multiple sclerosis. Each year construction, real estate and architecture industry leaders come together to learn about MS and raise funds to help create a world free of MS.

Cathy Cunningham
Finance Editor & Co-Deputy Editor,
Commercial ObserverCathy Cunningham is the Finance Editor and Co-Deputy Editor of Commercial Observer. Born and raised in Scotland, Cathy got her journalism start as a CMBS reporter for Institutional Investor in New York in 2005. After the global financial crisis she was a mortgage analyst for Bank of Scotland before moving to CREMAC Asset Management, where she was involved in the acquisition of commercial real estate whole loans and CMBS. Since 2016, Cathy has been responsible for leading Commercial Observer's finance coverage nationwide.
Ralph Mancini Blue Ribbon Award Recipient
Karen Solomon
Principal, GenslerAs a Technical Principal located in Gensler's New York office, Karen orchestrates preliminary and schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Her extensive workplace experience includes projects for fashion companies, creative media, advertising, financial services firms, and professional services firms, including ING, Warburg Pincus, UBS, BNY Mellon, US Golf Association, White & Case, EY, Blue Owl and Jenner & Block. Karen manages many office-wide initiatives, including educating and mentoring, risk management strategies, and collaboration between technical directors to ensure the overall quality of project implementation. Karen is a registered architect and construction document technologist, holding a Bachelors in Architecture from Syracuse University.
