Challenge Walk MS is a multi-day, fully-supported endurance walking event that dares us to move beyond our limits – as individuals and as an MS movement. No matter where you walk, you will be backed by extraordinary support and passionate people for an unforgettable experience. Grab your walking shoes and push what's possible as you challenge yourself, your community, and ultimately, MS.

Choose from Three Distinct Walks

Challenge Walk MS has three walks across the U.S. with experiences that are unique to each location: Southern California, Door County, WI and Cape Cod, MA. All walks are accessible and offer a variety of route options for an event that’s tailored for you.

 Find Your Walk

Find Your Walk to register online. You can also register through email and phone:

Join or Start a Team

You can register to walk as an individual, but there's nothing like sharing the experience by starting or joining a team. Teams can consist of anyone – from friends and family to co-workers. You can start your own team, or search for and join an existing one.

Train and Fundraise

The Challenge Walk MS experience kicks off as soon as you register with training and fundraising. Each Challenge Walk MS event ranges from 2-3 days, and routes vary from 30-50 miles. Training is a rewarding and fun experience, especially since you’ll be backed by this resilient community.

All walks have a fundraising minimum that powers our mission to end MS forever. Southern California has a minimum of $2,500, and Door County, WI and Cape Cod have a $1,500 minimum. We’ll help you reach your fundraising goals and stay motivated with:

  • Exclusive fundraising clubs and levels
  • Fundraising contests leading up to the walk
  • Fundraising tools, like videos and ideas/tips, plus personalized support

Get Walking

The route has fully stocked rest stops every 3 miles. Each offers fruit, snacks, water and fluid-replacement drinks. Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles cruise the route to give you a lift if needed — you don’t have to walk all 50 miles!

Celebrate a World Free of MS

Crossing the finish line is no easy feat, but it comes with a feeling unlike any other! Participants describe it as an incredible sense of accomplishment and fulfillment, knowing you gave it your all.

Challenge Walk MS Team Believers celebrating

'TEAM DAD,' created in 2007, has walked hundreds of miles, amongst hundreds of other MS warriors, friends, family members, and communities over the past seventeen years. This year, I will be WALKING to celebrate my personal milestone of having lived well for nearly 30 years with MS...and still WALKING!
