Race Details

Step #1: To be considered for one of our limited spots, please submit your application here. Please see below for the required fundraising minimum, which will depend on your participation type:

$500 – Runner who has a secured spot

$750 - Runner who has a secured spot with training perks

$1,000 – Marathon & Half
 

Step #2: Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis starting July 2025 through March 1, 2025.
 

Step #3: If selected, you will receive an email notification from the event lead! At that time, you will be given a private registration link to create your personal fundraising page.

Fundraising can (& should) start immediately after submitting your registration because your registration will not be approved until 30% of the fundraising minimum is raised. The deadline to hit the 30% milestone is January 15, 2025. Once this milestone is reached, your application will be approved by the event lead in the charities Haku portal.

The deadline to meet the fundraising minimum is March 16, 2025.

Please Note:

• After you complete your registration, if an injury renders you unable to participate, or you choose to not participate in the LA Marathon & Half as a charity runner for the National MS Society, you will still be held responsible for 75% of your required fundraising minimum by March 16, 2025.
• If you don’t reach the fundraising minimum requirement by the deadline, your credit card will automatically be charged the difference between the fundraising minimum and the amount you have raised to date.

If you registered for the LA Marathon and received a bib on your own, you can still join the team and take part in all the social activities, training programs, blitz competitions and team celebrations by fundraising the minimum of $500. To receive complimentary training, the fundraising minimum is $750.
