Cycling Toward a World Free of MS.  This is MUCH more than just a bike ride.  We are Mighty Strong, a team from Eastern North Carolina, and we’re riding for one simple reason: to help end Multiple Sclerosis (MS). This year, we’re once again participating in Bike MS, an event that raises crucial funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Every dollar we raise, and every mile we ride, brings us one step closer to a world free of MS.

Our inspiration and drive come from someone truly special to our team — our dear friend and teammate, Ursula Forrester. Ten years ago, Ursula was diagnosed with MS, and since then, she’s been a fierce advocate for others battling this unpredictable and life-altering disease. Her strength and determination inspire us every day, and we ride in her honor, pushing ourselves to do more than we ever thought possible.

Last year, thanks to the generosity and support of our friends, family, Mill Chill sponsors, and community, we raised just shy of $40,000 at the Tour to Tanglewood ride. This year, we’ve set an even more ambitious goal: $50,000. We know this is achievable because we have a team of passionate individuals, and a community of supporters, all coming together to make a real difference.

But we’re not just about raising money — we’re about raising awareness and building a team of riders and supporters of all levels. Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or just starting out, we welcome you to join us. Together, we can create a lasting impact and show that no one has to face MS alone.

If you’re unable to ride, we hope you’ll consider making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one pedal stroke closer to a cure.

Joining Team Mighty Strong:

We would love to have you join our team. You could be brand new to cycling, or an experienced rider. If you want to have an enjoyable ride, meet some awesome people, and have an impact on those living with MS, we want you on the team!  Every rider on our team that needs fundraising help will receive $100 from the Forrester Family.  This mean you only need $200 more hit the $300 minimum.  So if eight of your friends just give you 25 bucks, you are there!  And if you get to $600 in fundraising on your own, we will buy your Bright Penny team jersey too.  Otherwise, these can be purchased by you for $50.  Please use the blue Join Our Team button above to get started!
