Purple Pumpers 30th Year! We are cycling toward a world free of MS.
As the Captain again of the Purple Pumpers, I have been involved with this event since 1996. We have a long history of dedication and through the years have raised over $215,000 which includes the years of us being a very small team (around 4). We now max at 20 and average about 18 riders. This is a very personal event as two of our long time riders have developed MS and too we have sadly had 4 of our riders (including my brother) venture on to the heavenly gates. I’ve signed up for Bike MS, a ride that raises funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This organization has paved the way for every effective MS treatment available today — the Society is the best investment in reaching a cure for multiple sclerosis.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a devastating, unpredictable disease and no one should face it alone. Every mile we pedal and every dollar we raise brings us closer to a world free of MS.
The Purple Pumpers are going the distance with my training and commitment to end MS, and I hope I can count on your support as I prepare for this incredible experience. I’ve set an ambitious goal because I know that with support from people like you, I can get there.
Join me on this journey and make a difference today. Donate and help me reach my goal.
