WEEKEND UPDATE – Day 1 Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway Canceled; Day 2 Continues

Due to the significant impact of rain and storms, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Day 1 of Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway schedule for today. Safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure everyone connected to Bike MS has a positive experience. The weather forecast for Sunday, June 25 is clear, and we plan to continue with Day 2. Here are some updates to know for today and tomorrow:

We will have all festivities, food, and housing available at MMA.

For Saturday only riders, we still have the 3pm and 7pm bus to bring you from MMA today back to Quincy.

For riders taking the ferry on Sunday. You can leave your vehicle at the start and we will bus you to MMA. We will transport your bike. If your luggage is on the truck, it will remain on the truck for us to transport to MMA. We will have the ferry on Sunday to transport you as scheduled back to Quincy.

For riders with no vehicles, we will also bus you from here to MMA. If your luggage is in the truck, we will transport it to MMA for you and we will transport your bike.

We are asking anyone who has a personal vehicle and planning on taking the Provincetown bus on Sunday to drive themselves and teammates to MMA with their luggage AND bike unless your luggage is already on the truck.

We will have buses on Sunday transporting from Provincetown to MMA to retrieve vehicles and buses from Provincetown to Quincy.

If you are driving your personal vehicle. Please proceed with caution as you exit the parking lot.

As we adjust plans for the weekend, we appreciate your patience and understanding. We will continue provide updates on our website (hyperlink to event specific website). Thanks for all you do to help move our mission forward. Your efforts fund critical services for people living with MS and research to move us closer to a cure. While the weather has impacted our plans, we will not let it stop us from crossing the finish line of creating a world free of MS!
