Team Captain Team Rebecca Walk MS: Washington D.C. 2023

19 years ago I had tingling feet, a bizarre tightness in my midsection, and pins and needles in my arms and hands. Sleep was tough due to the sensations in my body and the panic in my brain. What was happening? Would it ever stop?

MS was happening.
And, like Miley, it don't stop.
It does get better. And worse.
Sometimes in the reverse order.
Sometimes simultaneously.
Some simple pleasures are out of reach.
(My kingdom for a catheter-free pee!)
And there is still a lot of marrow to be sucked from this life.

In the past nineteen years, I have witnessed huge changes in medications, doctors' attitudes, and patients' outlooks all due, at least in part, to the work of the MS Society.

Please give, join our team, or share this. xoxo
