Volunteers Make Hike MS Possible
Each year, a dedicated crew joins the Hike MS volunteer team, doing everything from marking routes, setting up registration to providing safety and support for hikers at the event. Volunteers are the foundation for Society events. They not only make events like Hike MS possible, the dedication of their time and effort helps strengthen the MS movement. Upon registering, you will receive an automatic message to connect you with the local Volunteer Engagement team member.
Anyone Can Volunteer
There’s a place for you at Hike MS! Families, corporate groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer. We are always looking for youth clubs, corporate and service-oriented community groups to lend a hand before, during and after our events.
Volunteer Role
Volunteers help with all aspects of the event, including:
- Set up and/or tear down
- Registration/Check-In
- Rest Stops on the Mountain
- Spirit Team at the Finish Line
- Medical (First-Aid/CPR Certification and above)
- Participant Hospitality Team
- And so much more!
There is a role for everyone and we look forward to helping you find the best role for you.
Fundraising as a Volunteer
Volunteers are some of our most powerful fundraisers and have access to the same great fundraising tools as Hike MS participants. Think the event shirt is cool and want one of your own?
