9:30 am – Participants can access the grounds and visit sponsors, enjoy a breakfast-themed snack and commemorate the day with a photo. 11:15 am – the Official Ceremony begins and includes an interactive component for participants. 11:30 am – Participants start walking on the site’s supported and accessible routes, featuring a Hydration Station with water. Enjoy these features and more at Walk MS:Registration and Information: If you have not registered online, stop at the Registration and Information Area to sign up for Walk MS. Participants can drop off donations, pick up an ALL-IN button, and have Walk MS questions answered by volunteers and staff. T-shirts sponsored by EMD Serono: All Walk MS fundraiser T-shirts are being mailed directly to households and will not be available at the event. You must fundraise $100 or more at least 35 days before your event date to receive your T-shirt prior to Walk MS. If you fundraise $100 after that date, you will still receive your T-shirt in the mail, but it will arrive at your home after your Walk MS event date. Official Ceremony: The Walk MS Official Ceremony is held at the Main Stage and includes an opportunity for everyone to participate and see the Walk MS community come to life like never before. The Center for People Living with MS: Visit The Center to learn about Society programs and resources, including self-help groups and MS Navigators. Individuals living with MS receive a Walk MS swag item courtesy of Sanofi. You can also fill out a Diagnosis Date sticker and meet others living with MS. Complete the Circle: Visit this interactive display to demonstrate support, love and remembrance for individuals diagnosed with MS. Choose a sticker color that symbolizes your connection to the MS community and leave your personal mark by writing your name or message.

Food and Beverage: The Food and Beverage Area includes breakfast-themed snacks and beverages. Start Line/Finish Line and Routes: Participants pass through the Start Line and determine which of our supported and accessible routes they’ll take. Most sites provide two options, and all routes include a Hydration Station with water. Hydration Station: Positioned along the route and offering water. Sponsor Area: Visit a variety of Walk MS sponsors and talk with company representatives to learn more about their helpful products and services. Top Fundraiser Area sponsored by Rush University Medical Center is a fun perk for last year’s top Walk MS fundraisers. Invitees receive commemorative credentials and can meet their fundraising peers plus talk with Society staff. Breakfast-themed snacks and beverages will be available, along with accessible seating. The Top Fundraiser Area also includes a photo area and a listing of the prior year’s top fundraisers.

Get Directions here If you are driving, you will take Lake Shore Drive and turn into East 18th Drive. Parking will be at the Waldron Parking Deck. If you are having trouble finding a parking area please ask the nearest volunteer for assistance. If driving to Walk MS: Chicago, please note that Waldron drive is closed, make sure to take the 18th Drive exit when exiting Lake Shore Drive. DRIVING FROM I-55 • Take I-55, the Stevenson Expressway, northbound to Lake Shore Drive/Highway 41 North. • Take LSD north to the 18th Drive exit. DRIVING FROM I-290 • Take I-290, the Eisenhower Expressway, east to Congress Parkway. • Take Congress Parkway to Columbus Drive. • Turn right and take Columbus Drive south to the 18th Drive exit. DRIVING FROM I-90/94 • Take I-90/94, the Dan Ryan Expressway, north to the Lake Shore Drive/22nd street exit. • Stay to the right and exit to LSD. • Take LSD/Highway 41 north to the 18th Drive exit. Public Transportation – click here Road Closures begin at 9:00am Northbound Fort Dearborn Dr. CLOSED Special Olympics Dr. CLOSED Waldron Dr. CLOSED PARKING: Directions Parking Info: Paid Parking ($25) is available on site in the South Lot (459 East 18th Drive, Chicago, IL 60605) on a first come, first serve basis. Additional paid parking ($25) will be available in Waldron Parking Deck located at 600 E. Waldron Dr., Chicago, IL 60616. We ask that all participants using the Waldron deck to please use the crosswalk to enter the Walk MS site. Accessible parking is available on the first floor of the Waldron garage. Volunteers will be on-hand to assist and provide directions. If you need to be dropped off closer to the site before parking, you can pull off slightly into the turn lanes of the south lot. You cannot enter the main site. You must only be dropped off in this area, and then continue on to Waldron Parking Deck for event parking. |

Yes, dogs are welcome at this Walk MS event, but must remain on a leash. Service animals are always welcome. |
