Set Up During Registration

After you register or create a page, you have the opportunity to create a Facebook Fundraiser by clicking Create a Facebook Fundraiser in your welcome prompt.

Set Up After Registration

From your Dashboard, you can click on one of the two links shown below.

You can also go to Your Page, Settings, Create a Facebook Fundraiser as shown below.

You can track how much you are raising from Facebook on your Dashboard by clicking View Facebook Fundraiser.

When you receive a donation to your Facebook Fundraiser, you will immediately see those donations synced into your fundraising page. The donations will be listed on your donation list as Facebook Donor.

You can thank you Facebook Donors by commenting on your Facebook Fundraiser or privately messaging your donor in Facebook. After you thank a donor on Facebook, you will have the option to mark that donor as Thanked in your donations list.

Your Facebook Fundraiser will automatically end when fundraising for your event closes. However, you can end your Facebook Fundraiser early directly from your Dashboard by clicking End Now as shown below.

The best way to use Facebook to fundraise is by sharing your page in a Facebook post. Follow these steps to share on your Facebook page:

1. If you aren't already, log into your Facebook account.
2. Go to your Dashboard and click Your Page.
3. Scroll down till you find the Share Links.
   
4. Click the f Share to share on Facebook.
5. Customize your post (optional). You can add a personal message to your post, adjust the image preview or tag friends and family.
6. Click Share. Your fundraising page link will now be posted on your Facebook timeline for your network to see and support you.
