7:15 AM  Cyclists start lining up by pace (faster cyclists towards front)

7:35 AM  Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads STARTS! All cyclists must be on route by 8 AM

Lunch will be served on the route at the Charles City Courthouse

Saturday, May 31: Williamsburg (Chickahominy Riverfront Park) 

6:00 AM  Shuttle Service begins from hotels

6:30 AM  Bike Storage opens

6:30 AM  Registration & grab-and-go breakfast at the start line area  

7:15 AM  Cyclists start lining up by pace (faster cyclists towards front)

7:30 AM  Welcome & announcements 

7:35 AM  Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads STARTS! (62-mile route)

Lunch will be served on the 62-mile route at the Charles City Courthouse

8:00 AM  27 mile route starts! All cyclists must be on route by 8:15 AM

 Cyclists on the 27-mile route will be served lunch at the finish line

10:00 AM  Team Village opens 

11:00 AM  Beer Garden opens & Food Service begins

12:00 PM  Shuttle service begins to hotels

4:30 PM  Routes close - all cyclists must be in

5:00 PM  Dinner begins in the Food Tent 

5:00 PM  Shuttle service pauses for dinner & program 

5:30 PM  Bike MS Evening Celebration

7:00 AM  Registration open for 1-Day Sunday only cyclists (until 7:45 AM)

7:30 AM Breakfast service concludes

Cyclists and teams, it's time to make a big move! Each fundraising week provides two opportunities to win, one for teams and one for individuals. Teams and individuals who raise the most funds online during the fundraising week will win prizes to enhance their Bike MS weekend experience while raising the critical funds to END MS FOREVER.

Fundraising Week #1 (March 24-30)

*Each team and individual are eligible to win one fundraising contest per Bike MS season.

Fundraising Week #2 (April 21-27)

• Teams in each division that raise the most will have their team tent fully stocked on us!
• The individual that raises the most will receive a $50 gift card to the bike shop or brewery of their choice! 

Your Bike MS packet contains important items including your rider bib, event details and sponsor giveaways. In order to pick up your packet, you must meet the $300 fundraising minimum and have a completed waiver on file.

• If you registered online, you've already completed a waiver during the registration process.
• Anyone who did not register themselves online will need to complete a waiver.
• Riders under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

New in 2025, riders can camp right where the action is, creating a truly immersive experience in the great outdoors. Or you can take advantage of discounted area hotel rooms and we’ll run a shuttle so you don’t miss anything.

Transportation

Convenient Shuttle Service – Two shuttles will run throughout our event, arriving at Chickahominy Riverfront Park approximately every 40 minutes to transport riders to and from our partner hotels, including the DoubleTree (about a 20-minute ride). Prefer to camp? That’s an option too!

• Shuttles can transport you, your bike and two pieces of luggage to and from Chickahominy Riverfront Park

Secure Overnight Bike Storage – Rest easy knowing your bike is safe! We’ll have a dedicated storage area at the park, monitored by overnight security guards. You may also take your bike on one of our shuttles to our partner hotels.

Hassle-Free Luggage Transport –The luggage of cyclists beginning in Richmond will be delivered from Varina High School to Chickahominy Riverfront Park. From there, shuttles can take two items of luggage and your bike to one of our partner hotels.

Camping? Cyclists can bring a personal tent on our luggage trucks in addition to their luggage.

Brand New to Colonial Crossroads this year: Cyclists can pedal down from Richmond to Williamsburg and take a shuttle back to our Richmond starting line on Saturday night!

There will be ample and accessible parking at our Richmond start/finish line, Varina High School, and our Williamsburg start/finish line and evening celebration location, Chickahominy Riverfront Park.

Route

Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered. 

Each route includes fully stocked rest stops, supplied with hydration and nutritional snacks  (a mix of fruit, protein, sweet, and salty snacks), every 8 to 18 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy time with the volunteers. Along the route you will be joined by our support and gear (SAG) vehicles who will be on there to assist you.

After you cross the finish line, we will have plenty of local food available.  

Rest Stop

Rest Stop Sponsored by Miles of Scarves  – Richmond route rest stop you will not want to miss. The Miles of Scarves rest stop will be themed and there will be cookies!

Bike Shops

The support we receive from local bike shops is crucial; bike mechanics will be located throughout the ride along with yearly support from shops in the area. For more Bike Shop information, check out the Training and Prep page!
