This gorgeous ride combines the best of all worlds, the Coastal path, the Ojai river path and a breathtaking climb around Lake Casitas with spectacular views of the lake and ocean. Actual distance 43.3. Rest Stops – 3

Bike MS:Los Angeles hosts 2 community-wide fundraising weeks to rally our individuals and team fundraising.

Fundraising Weeks create friending competition for who can fundraise the most within the week’s time frame: 12:00 AM Monday through 11:59:59 PM Sunday. Fields and prizes below:

Small Team Recruitment Challenge: All teams with 5 or fewer team members as of 4/1 get a point for each additional member recruited before 11:59 PM 4/16. The team with the most points WINS a RIDE OUT SONG OF THEIR CHOOSING EVENT WEEKEND!!!!
Included in your packet is a rider bib, tags for your bike and helmet, wristband and information. If you raised $1000 or more, you have a prize jersey coming to you that can be picked up at packet pick up. Your t-shirt and medal will be given to you after the ride on Saturday and on Sunday.
Who can pick up a packet?
You may pick up a packet for someone else as long as that person has signed the waiver (you may sign an online waiver) and raised the minimum of $350 or can provide information showing that donations and/or matching gifts are on the way towards covering the minimum.

You may pick up your packet onsite the morning of the event on both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday May 17th registration and packet pick up opens at 6am at the Event Start San Buena Ventura State Beach Park, 901 San Pedro Ave in Ventura and on Sunday at the same location at 7:00am.
There will be a pre-ride packet pickup in Ventura on Friday evening from 4pm to 7pm, exact location still to be determined. Check back for details. We also have plans underway for a packet pickup in Los Angeles at a time and place still to be determined.
Please note:
- If you registered online, you've already completed a waiver during the registration process.
- Anyone who did not register themselves online will need to complete a waiver.
- Riders under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Chartered bus tickets will be available for purchase soon. Buses are available for return to Santa Monica on both Saturday and Sunday.
Our sponsor Metrolink will also provide FREE train tickets to Santa Monica and to Ventura.

Free Camping
There is also FREE camping at the San Buenaventura State Beach Park available on a first come first serve basis.
These camp sites are available for Saturday night only. You may bring a small tent, chair, sleeping bags, pillows and blankets. There are no fires allowed and no loud music. RSVP to reserve your campsite.
- Camping will be provided at no cost to participants for the night of Saturday, June 1st at San Buenaventura State Beach Park.
- Permitted camping gear includes the following:
- Tent (two-person max.)
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping pad
- Pillow
- No chairs, stereos, stoves, or other camping supplies are permitted
- Motor Homes / Campers need to find alternative location
- Limited spaces are available; please make sure you selected camping as an option at registration. If not, contact a Bike MS staff member to update your account.
- Tents (two-person max.) can be set up as early as 8:00am on Saturday, May 14th. You will check in at the campsite area with a NMSS staff person.
- All campers will pay $10 for overnight parking upon entering the park.
- No vehicles will be allowed to re-enter the premises after Sunset (6:00pm) on Saturday, May 17th. The park closes at this time. If you plan on taking your vehicle out of the park and returning after park closure, please take note that you will need to find street parking, which can be difficult.
- You can go into town after 6:00pm by walking the bike path or calling a local cab or ride share service. They can pick up / drop off at the park entrance.
Free Metrolink Tickets
After the event, cyclists can make their final victory lap to the Metrolink Ventura-East station and enjoy the ride back to Los Angeles.
All Metrolink trains have a bike car that is designed to accommodate up to nine bikes. These special trains cars are in addition to the regular Metrolink train cars that are designed to accommodate up to three bikes. You can learn more about bikes on board Metrolink train cars here.

A few things to note:
- In order to receive your complimentary Metrolink ticket, participants must be registered on the Metrolink App by Thursday, May 8
- Metrolink tickets cannot be purchased in advance.
- Metrolink tickets are valid on Amtrak codeshare trains, but riders are not allowed to bring their bike onto an Amtrak train.
- Participants who would like to take advantage of their free ride and would like to bring their bike on the train, can board at the Ventura-East Metrolink station.
- Participants who would like to take their bike on an Amtrak train must purchase an Amtrak ticket and reserve an Amtrak bike reservation.

Don’t worry, our event will have a place for you to park your vehicle! Any and all parking information will be located here.
Route
Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered.
Each route includes fully stocked rest stops, supplied with hydration and nutritional snacks (a mix of fruit, protein, sweet, and salty snacks), every 8 to 18 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy time with the volunteers. Along the route you will be joined by our support and gear (SAG) vehicles who will be on there to assist you.
After you cross the finish line, we will have plenty of local food available.
Food
All Bike MS Participants will enjoy Breakfast Lunch and Dinner on us all weekend. Any friends and family that come along to cheer you on may purchase meal tickets on site.
Among our fantastic caterers is one of Ventura's finest, Peiranos! Here’s what’s on the menu on Saturday night: Garden Salad mixed greens with tomato, cucumber, radish, tri-colored carrots, croutons, balsamic vinaigrette and ranch dressing, Lemon Caper Pasta with Asparagus and Parmesan (Vegetarian), Oven Roasted Chicken, and Artisan Bread and Butter.
Also a scrumptious breakfast both Saturday and Sunday including eggs and vegan options, hearty lunch and will also be providing our VIPs with a six foot charcuterie board!! They make their own artisanal lunch meats. Delicious!
Also for our VIPs, appetizers from one of the jewels of the Ventura restaurant crown, Aloha Steakhouse and cocktails from Ventura spirits!
Support
E-bikes are welcome. Ventura Cycling Center will provide a discount on e-bike rentals for the weekend. Our mechanical support will be provided by Trek Bikes. We will also provide SAG vehicles, moto support and traffic control in busy areas. Rest stops are every ten miles. Invite your friends and family to cheer you on at the Pt. Mugu lunch stop!
Bike Shops
The support we receive from local bike shops is crucial; bike mechanics will be located throughout the ride along with yearly support from shops in the area. For more Bike Shop information, check out the Training and Prep page!
