Race Details

Step #1: Submit an application to be considered for one of our teams limited spots. Fundraising minimums are outlined below:

• $10,000 – Invitational Runner
• $2,000 – Qualified Runner

Step #2:

Invitational runners must raise 50% ($5,000) of their fundraising minimum prior to February 2^nd. Once this milestone has been met, runners will receive our team’s official B.A.A. registration link as the final step in solidifying your spot! At this time, they will be responsible for paying the B.A.A.’s registration fee of $395. The deadline to register for the Marathon is February 5, 2025.

The deadline to meet the fundraising minimum is April 21, 2025.

Please Note:

• Once registered and an injury occurs or a runner chooses to not participate in the Boston Marathon as a charity runner for the National MS Society, they will still be held responsible for 75% of my required fundraising minimum by April 21, 2025.
• If a runner doesn’t reach the fundraising minimum requirement by the deadline, their credit card will automatically be charged the difference between the fundraising minimum and the amount they currently have raised.

If you are a time qualified runner or have secured an entry through another source, please contact shannon.feeney@nmss.org to join our team! Qualified runners who join our charity team will receive all the same perks as our invitational runners, including complimentary training, team swag, invitations to both the Saturday team dinner and post-race celebration, and access to indoor space in Athletes’ Village on race morning! In exchange, we ask that you raise $2,000.

The qualifying registration window for the 129^th Boston Marathon will open on Monday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. ET and close on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
