Bike MS is an extraordinary ride no matter where you are! Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…
Each route includes fully-stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy the volunteers. Bike mechanics and support and gear (SAG) vehicles will also be on the route to assist you.
After the ride, we will have plenty of food at the finish line.

Fayette County Fairgrounds Parking
Vehicle access to the Fairgrounds on Saturday after 9:00 am by permit only. No public parking available at the Fairgrounds. DO NOT PARK along Highway 77 – towing is strictly enforced!
It is highly recommended that you park at the Event Weekend Shuttle parking lot located at the La Grange High School and take the courtesy shuttles to the Fairgrounds.

- Individual camping (first come, first-served basis in designated area only) Riders may bring a 1 to 2 person camping tent to be transported with your luggage (dropped at the luggage truck on Saturday at start location). The camping tent counts as 1 of the 2 piece luggage limit per participant.
- RV (designated areas only)
Rules for Overnight RV camping at Fayette County Fairgrounds
- RV parking is on a first-come, first-served basis – NO RESERVATIONS
- Access to the Fairgrounds for RVs is only available 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Thursday and Friday the week of the event (There is absolutely no access prior to Thursday)
- RVs will check in at the front of the Fairgrounds and be escorted to the RV parking area
- No RV hook-ups on site or designated spaces “pasture/field type parking area”
- RV/camping gear must be removed by dusk on Sunday, May 1
- RVs are required to be equipped with a current/certified fire extinguisher

The bus departures at 6 pm on Friday, April 29 from Lot 61 located at 155 John Kimbrough Blvd, College Station (Texas A&M University) to the Hyatt Regency Houston West Hotel (13210 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079).
Bikes are transported separately on a truck to the Hyatt Recency Houston West hotel.
Bikes will be available for pick up at the hotel on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning, luggage will be loaded onto the truck at the hotel and taken to the Energy Corridor start and transferred to the main luggage truck heading to the day 1 finish/overnight site in La Grange finish.

La Grange Ice Order Form
We are partnering with Boy Scout Troop 204 is delivering 20lb. bags of ice on Saturday, April 30th at the LA GRANGE FAIRGROUNDS for a donation of $8 per bag. (A different Troop sells ice at the finish line.)

Teams who meet the Texas MS 150 2022 Team Safety Award Criteria are encouraged to complete the 2022 Team Safety Award Application by August 25, 2022, for consideration. Please see below for application guidelines:
- Only Team Captains or Team Safety Coordinators may apply for the Team Safety Award on behalf of their team.
- Applicants must provide detailed information when applying for a safety award including:
- Number of team riders that participated in the 2022 Texas MS 150
- Percentage of team riders that completed the Safe Cycling quiz by the deadline of Friday, April 29, 2022
- Information on team riders that completed the safety training courses (Group Riding Skills)
- Ride Marshal requirements (listing the number and names of Ride Marshals)
- League Cycling Instructor (LCI) requirements (listing the number and names of LCIs)

MS Ambassadors
MS Ambassadors are volunteers that represent the National MS Society in a variety of ways and may be people living with MS, family or friends, healthcare professionals, committee members…anyone interested in joining the movement to create a world free of MS. Their primary purpose is to assist in increasing public awareness of both MS and the MS Society and to encourage others to connect and engage. An MS Ambassador can attend your team meetings in an effort to increase mission connection and encourage fundraising!

Safety Coordinators
The Team Safety Coordinator serves an important role in assisting the Team Captain with the planning and execution of safety education, training and awareness for the team members participating in the Texas MS 150. Group Riding Skills Courses
League of American Bicyclists Online Learning Portal Smart Cycling Lessons
- NO COST: Smart Cycling curriculum builds on itself through Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced sections of bicycling education.
- Wide variety of methods to learn the material - videos, presentations, quizzes, worksheets.
- Review all curriculum to prepare for the Smart Cycling Exam.
- Pass the Smart Cycling exam score of 85% or more to print your certificate of completion.
- League members will be able to login directly to the site using the same login as the League member portal.
- Not a League member? You can still access the Learning Center for free: need to create an account and validate the account through email.
* The online Smart Cycling courses are hosted by The League of American Bicyclists, a non-profit organization promoting education programs to improve cycling safety skills. These no cost Smart Cycling courses offered are not organized or supported by the National MS Society. This information is provided as a safety educational resource only.
Group Riding Skills Courses - Teams

Join one of the Recommended Rides to practice Group Cycling and train for the Texas MS 150.
The Recommended Rides are hosted by Local Non-Profit Organizations; fees vary per ride. The Recommended Rides are not organized or supported by the National MS Society.
Additional Training Opportunities
Equipment
Not only does your body need to be in the best shape for the Texas MS 150, but your bike should be finely tuned and road worthy as well. To ensure your bike is in the best shape, take your bike and cycling shoes to one of the Texas MS 150 Bike Store Sponsors for a FREE professional safety inspection.
Bike Safety inspections are not mandatory, but strongly encouraged by the National MS Society to promote a safe Texas MS 150.
