- 6:45 a.m. 54-mile riders depart, 20-mile trail riders depart
- 6:50 a.m. 25-mile road and 12-mile in-park riders depart
- 7:30 a.m. Starting line closes – ALL RIDERS MUST BE ON ROUTE
- 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Lunch at McDowell Mountain Regional Park and ice cream truck on site

Routes & Maps
We are planning multiple routes ranging from 12 – 75 miles (with an option for up to 100 miles), including a 12-mile loop that stays inside the park and a 20-mile mountain bike loop. Whether you are a novice cyclist or a seasoned veteran, we will have a route for you. Get ready to enjoy the beautiful desert mountain scenery as you pedal through the gorgeous McDowell Mountain Regional Park, out on the streets of Fountain Hills and beyond. Check back before the event, as routes are subject to change due to construction and permitting.
Saturday, October 5 (Day One):
- 12 mile in-park route
- 20 mile trail/MTB route
- 25 mile route
- 54 mile route
- 72 mile route
- Optional 100 mile route – 72 mile plus 12-mile in park twice
Sunday, October 6 (Day Two):
Group Ride/Party/Jersey Reveal
Join us for a great time on Saturday, August 31.
We will kick things off with a group ride, hosted by our friends at Uphill into the Wind. Arrive at the Curbside Cyclery parking lot by 5:45 a.m. for wheels down by 6 a.m. There will be A, B and C rides available, plus a trail ride option. Each will last 90 minutes or less, and will have the following approximate planned distances:
- A group – 28 miles
- B group – 22 miles
- C group – 16 miles
- MTB – all-levels 90-minute trail ride at South Mountain (meet at Curbside Cyclery)
Stay after the ride for breakfast, coffee and socializing with your fellow Bike MS riders inside of Curbside Cyclery. We will also unveil our Bike MS: Arizona 2024 Club K jersey, and you are going to want this one! If you have already qualified for Club K by raising $1,000 or more, you can take your jersey home from the party! Be the envy of all your friends by being the first to wear your Bike MS AZ 2024 Club K jersey.

Group Ride at SouthWest Bicycles
Join us for a group training ride, hosted by our friends in the Southwest Bicycles Cycling Club. Arrive in the bike shop’s back parking lot at 6:00 a.m. for wheels down by 6:15 a.m. There will be A (19+ mph), B (16-18 mph), C (14-16 mph) and D (12-14 mpg) groups available, traveling a total of 35-45 miles.
Snacks will be available at the shop at the conclusion of the ride. Southwest Bicycles is also giving riders who attend the group ride on that day a $20 off coupon good on most merchandise that day only.

There will be three categories of winners*:
- Team with 2 – 8 members
- Team with 9+ members
- Individual rider (whether or not the rider is a member of a team)
*based on the dollar amount of online fundraising during the week
Prizes:
Team winner: Upgraded team experience of your choice (reserved team table with banner**, candy bar, cooler of specialty drinks in team area, dedicated packet pick-up for the team, porta potty at rest stop of your choice, team start/ride-out with chosen song at event).
Individual winner: Bike MS Prize Pack (assorted SWAG) and $100 bike shop gift card.
** For a team that has not reached the $5000 threshold to earn a reserved team table with banner for this year.

Your Bike MS packet contains important items including your rider bib, event details and park entrance form. In order to pick up your packet, you must meet the $250 fundraising minimum and have a completed waiver on file. If you registered online, you have already completed a waiver during the registration process. Please note: Riders under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Team captains may pick up for their entire team. Family members can also pick up packets for each other. Anyone else wanting another individual to pick up their packet should let Bike MS staff know in advance.

Camping
Tent camping and dry camping for RVs and trailers is available for free at our base venue in McDowell Mountain Regional Park on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are interested in renting an RV spot with water and electric hookups in the park, check availability and make a reservation at the E.I. Rowland campground.

Transportation
There is no shuttle service to McDowell Mountain Regional Park. There is plenty of parking in the park at our base venue. We encourage riders to carpool when possible. Our start/finish line is at the Competitive Track, and parking is available in that area.
Additional overflow parking is available at the Four Peaks Trailhead Lot.

Food
Whether you have a flat tire or need a snack to help get you across the finish line, we’ve got you covered…
Each route includes fully stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles with some of the best snacks and volunteers around. Relax, hydrate, use the restroom, re-apply sunscreen and enjoy time with the volunteers along with support and gear (SAG) vehicles along the route to assist you.
After you cross the finish line, we will have plenty of local food information handy.
Bike Shops
The support from local bike shops is crucial; bike mechanics will be located throughout the ride along with yearly support from shops in the area. For more Bike Shop information check out your Training and Prep page!
