Tour Experiences
- Riding a Snowmobile? MS Snowmobile Tour participants ride in pre-assigned groups designated by a color (e.g. orange, green, blue). Each color group has a guide and tailgunner who lead the group on marked, well-groomed trails. For the safety of you and the other riders on the Tour, you must stay with your color group and not ride on your own. When you register, you’ll be able to select a color group or request to be assigned to a group based on your experience level and/or preference.
- Participants must be at least 12 years old to participate. Each rider should be individually registered. The MS Snowmobile Tour offers a Youth Rider (age 12-17) option. Youth Riders raise $500 and receive the same benefits as Adult Riders. All Youth Riders must be accompanied by an adult for Tour weekend.
- Don’t Want to Ride a Snowmobile? The MS Snowmobile Tour Bus may be for you! Bus Riders fundraise $750 and receive the same benefits and experience as snowmobile riders. The bus leaves shortly after the snowmobilers each day and meets up with them along the trails and for lunch, along with participating in planned Bus-specific activities. Participants can also choose to ride their snowmobile one day and ride the bus the other day. The Bus allows anyone connected to the MS movement, even if they do not snowmobile, to enjoy the MS Snowmobile Tour experience and camaraderie.
- Can’t Make it Tour Weekend? The MS Snowmobile Tour also offers a Virtual Rider option. All Virtual Riders raising the $750 minimum will receive the commemorative MS Snowmobile Tour t-shirt, hat, and bandana.

Volunteer
Volunteers make MS Snowmobile Tour possible!
Each year, thousands of people across the country join the National MS Society volunteer team. From planning event details and calling past participants to providing safety and support event day , volunteers make it happen, and are the foundation of our fundraising events .
Who can volunteer?
Families, corporate groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities are encouraged and welcome to volunteer. We are always looking for youth clubs, corporate, and service-oriented community groups to lend a hand before, during, and after our events.
When you decide to volunteer, you become part of the MS movement – a collective of passionate individuals, moving together to create a world free of MS. Together we provide support, have fun, and make a difference in the lives of people living with MS.
Some volunteer positions require specialized skills, a criminal and/or DMV background check and some may involve driving or heavy lifting. Contact us with questions about the volunteer opportunities available for you.
Volunteer AND Fundraise – the best of both worlds!
Did you know that volunteers are some of our most powerful fundraisers? MS volunteers who choose to fundraise will be given access to a variety of great tools. Simply let us know that you are interested in fundraising (you'll be asked when you register) and we'll make sure you get set up with the Fundraising Center where you can set a fundraising goal, update your personal webpage to share your story with others, email supporters, track your progress and qualify for great fundraising prizes!
Volunteer registration will be open soon.
We are working hard to determine the volunteer needs for this year's event. As soon as we have those set, volunteer registration will open and you can check back here to sign up. In the meantime, if you would like to connect with the Volunteer Recruiter now, contact us.
